IIT JAM 2019 Registration & Results Schedule

Indian Institute of Technology, IIT, Kharagpur will hold the Joint Admission Test or IIT-JAM on 10th February, 2019. For IIT JAM 2019, registration is getting started by 1st September and end on 10th October. All the candidates who wish admissions to MSc, joint M.Sc-Ph.D, M.Sc-Ph.D dual degree courses at Indian Institute of Technology(s) and integrated Ph.D degree at IISc should apply on or before the scheduled due date.

The educational terms are the applicant should hold a graduation from any of the reputed university in any discipline. He/She must have secured 55% marks in the final exams for the respective discipline. Only 50% marks are enough for SC/ ST and PwD category candidates. Candidates sitting for final year exams can do apply.

Those who are aspiring and complying all the eligibility terms can apply online for the test via application process called JOAPS. As like GATE 2019, there is no age limit. At times of online submission of application forms, candidates should upload their scanned images of specimen photograph, signature and requisite enclosures.

Joint Admission Test will be conducted for a total of 7 subjects. The first session to be held from 9 AM to 12 PM for Biological Sciences, Maths & Physics. The second period is from 2 PM to 5 PM for Chemistry, Biotechnology, Geology and Mathematical Statistics.

It is mandatory for each and every candidates to get download their hall tickets from the official websites. With no admit card, none will be allowed to take the examination. Admit cards will be issued from 4th January. Candidates can take the Mock Test available through web link starting January 10. The result will be published on March 20.

2019 IIT JAM Registration Starts

Kharagpur Indian Institute of Technology is planned to organise the Joint Admission Test aka IIT-JAM on 10th February 2018. For IIT JAM 2019, registration will be started from 1st September and will be ceased on 10th October. All the candidates who require admissions to MSc, joint MSc-Ph.D, MSc-Ph.D double degree and all other programmes at Indian Institute of Technology(s) and integrated PhD coures at IISc should apply on or before the scheduled due date.

The applicant academic requisite is a bachelor’s degree from any of the reputed university in any stream. The candidate should have earned 55% marks in the final exams for that discipline. The needed marks for scheduled caste / scheduled tribe and PwD category applicants is 50%. Applicants who would like to write the final year exams can do apply.

Those who are desirious and complying all the eligibility terms can do apply online for the exam via application process called JOAPS. Alike GATE 2019, this exam has no age barrier. In times of online submission of application forms, applicants must upload their scanned specimen photograph, sign and other enclosures.

  • The online cbt will be held on 10.2.2019 in 2 sessions.
  • Totally 3 kinds of questions would be set namely MCQ, Multiple Choice Questions, Multiple Select Questions, MSQ , NAT and Numerical Answer Type questions.
  • Questions will only be written in English Language for which 3 hours will be given to complete.
  • The examination mark fixed of 100 marks.

Joint Admission Test will be organized for a total of 7 subjects. 1st session sill start by 9 AM in the morning until 12 noon for Biological Sciences, Maths, and Physics. The second session will begin by 2 PM to 5 PM for Biotechnology, Chemistry, Geology and Mathematical Statistics.

With no admit card, there is no chance for the candidate allowed to appear for the examination. Admit cards will be made available from 4th January. To guide aspirants in their studies, the official will also activate the Mock Test link on January 10th, 2018. The examination result will be released on March 20.
